Edinburgh

from Lent 2010 by Once in a Moon

/

about

A brief poem about the Edinburgh festival(s) recorded as a voicemail message.

lyrics

Hi there. How's it going?
I've only got a minute.
I'm on my way and if a taxi comes
I'll have to go and get in it
I've seen three shit plays already today
And I'm heading to number four
Tales of love and loss and pain
And a confession of sex with a door
Comics are dying, flierers fliering
And crowds in everyone's way
And the worst of it all, I paid to be here
An Edinburgh holiday
